Pt. Bhimsen Joshi's Memorabilia Presented to IME
The IME is honored to receive the memorabilia of Bharat Ratna, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. Panditji’s precious paan box, his trademark red shawl and brown jacket were donated to IME by his family. Smt. Laxmi Joshi (daughter-in-law of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi) and Smt. Shubhada Mulgund (daughter of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi) presented the articles to IME on January 16. Shri M.R. Jaishankar, CMD, Brigade Group and Chief Patron IME presided over the event.
