Bengaluru-Mysuru electric train
The commissioner of railway safety (Southern circle) Mr. K A Manoharan inspected the electrified track between Mysuru & Bengaluru, setting the stage for introduction of electric trains between the two cities. After the CRS clearance, an electric train between Mysuru & Bengaluru will become a reality by either late December or early January. The project will help cutdown carbon footprint and reduce travel time between the two cities.
