ARTISTS' DAY OUT

ARTISTS' DAY OUT

Brigade Gateway Apartment Owners Association and Abhivyakthi in collaboration with Art Park held an unique event - Art Park at Brigade Gateway, Rajajinagar.

For the first time in an apartment complex in Bengaluru and perhaps India, 40 well-known artists, including veteran artists like S G Vasudev, Jasu Rawal, M S Murthy, Rekha Rao, Krishna Raichur, Krishnappa, Gurudas Shenoy, Raja, Ravi Kumar Kashi, Jayakumar, Bhaskar Rao among others, interacted with the residents. The artists created works of art in 'plein air' along the lakeside in front of the curious residents.

As Paul Fernandes, a noted artist himself, who was at the event, exclaimed - It reminds me of Paris! Mr. M R Jaishankar, CMD - Brigade Group, inaugurated the Art Park and expressed his happiness that such an event was held at Brigade Gateway. Mr. S G Vasudev, the founder of Art Park, said that this was an artist's initiative to take art to the general public. We hope Brigade Gateway has set a trend in popularising art among apartment residents in Bengaluru.
