The Harmony Chorus

A special concert by The Harmony Chorus, celebrating women composers, directed by Sandra Oberoi was hosted at IME museum. The concert featured Western Classical songs by Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, Fanny Mendelssohn, among others, Musical Theatre repertoire by Kirsten Andersen-Lopez, Allee Willis, Sara Bareilles, and contemporary pop song-writers including Carole King, Lady Gaga and Faouzia. A highlight was the premiere of two a cappella choral compositions written by members of The Harmony Chorus, Tiara Oberoi and Anjali Pramod. It was an evening packed with unforgettable music woven together through stories and song.
