Visit to Silk Farm at Vijayapura

Students of standard ten were taken out for a study tour to the Silk Farm at Vijayapura. The students had a first-hand experience of the manifold activities that are carried out in the sericulture farm. They saw and learnt the process of making silk starting from visiting the mulberry farm, observing silkworms being reared, harvesting of cocoons and then watched how the machines processed them to bring out the finished product of silk fabric. They had a hands-on experience of holding the cocoons and also had the opportunity to see the best cocoons being auctioned. It was overall an enriching experience for the students.

Intra Mural Cultural Activities

As part of the Intra Mural Cultural Activities aimed at promoting holistic development of students, the school organised a series of competitions. This special event gave the students a platform to showcase their talent. From solo to group performances, the school was reverberating with song and dance.
